RDU-18 Passive Radiation Sensor

The RDU-18 Passive Radiation Sensor combines robust Geiger-Mueller detector technology and Digital Signal Processing to provide optimum capability.  The RDU-18 features:
  • Good sensitivity
  • Enhanced response time over conventional survey meters
  • Low rates of nuisance alerts
  • Interface provided for automated monitoring systems
  • Low cost
The Passive Detection™ technology used in the RDU-18 eliminates RDU-18 Sensor the need for calibration, maintenance, or operator training. The unit continuously monitors the health of critical internal circuitry and provides an output to indicate a failed condition. The RDU-18 is housed in a rugged, corrosion resistant, and waterproof enclosure with internal screw-terminal connector strip.  This package is ideal for deployment outdoors, in vehicles, or indoors.
